Confident, Fearless, Successful

Mr. Smith was telling the science class about the photosynthesis formula equation and the respiration equation. Everybody seemed very interested into what Mr. Smith was saying: Except for Jarmaine. The only thing Jarmaine seemed to think about was becoming a superstar and getting out of her school. Jarmaine was pretty well-known in her sophomore class. She absolutely loved to sing and also act. She sung in talent shows in 6th and 8th grade and she put videos up of her singing on her "sightredd", which is a site where you basically chat and share things with her friends. She was too afraid to put videos up of her singing on youtube though. When the bell rang, she switched classes and all the way down the hallway she thought to herself, "man i just cant wait to get outta here!!!". She got to her English class and her English teacher Mr. Jones wanted the students to talk about their future and what they planned on doing. the top answers for the girls were nurse and vets, and the top answers for the boys were NFL player and NBA player. They got around to Jarmaine,"ummm i wanna be a famous singer and actress". the whole class gave her a funny look and her teacher chuckled. "haha Jarmaine lets stick to reality here", Mr suggested. This made Jarmaine want to cry, but also wanted her to prove her peers wrong even more. Once Jarmaine got out of English, it was time to go home. she walked home from school and began to think about what her classmates and teacher had said. This had made her cry and she walked with her head down. When she looked up, the whole neighborhood had felt weird. No one was outside and it was dark. The wind began to blow very hard and she struggled to see. She heard a raspy, grown woman voice "Jarmaine, come here" Jarmaine looked up and seen a floating sparkly black blur close ahead. She got scared and turned the other way. When she turned around the sparkly blur was in front of her face! Jarmaine goes to run but the blur grabs her book-bag. "No wait Jarmaine, im here to help you!!" "Are you a Jeanie?" Jarmaine asked. " "umm yeah something like that. well on to the point, i see that your having some problems at school and at home getting people to believe in you!! so im gonna give you two wishes" "really?? ummm how am i suppose to believe you?" Jarmaine said with a puzzled look. "How else would i know your life story...plus im floating in midair, what more of a clue do you want girl!!" the  sparkly Jeanie said "okay, fine. i wish that you can give my parents and friends the ability to believe in me" "okay done!!" an awkward silence occurs.. Jarmaine then spoke up "umm thats all?" "yep!! bye!!" Just like that the blur was gone and Jarmaine walked home still thinking about what the heck had just happened. Jarmaine walked in the house and her family was watching a special on her celebrity singing teen sensation crush. Jarmaine dropped her bags and watched with a sparkle in her eye. "ugh the day i meet him will be wonderful!! we WILL do a song together" Jarmaine screamed in excitement,"Oh Jarmaine when will you stop!!!!! stick to reality. do you know how many people want to meet him?? there not going to, and neither are you!! sad but true. im sorry it has to be that way. start thinking about a career you can actually do please" her mom scolded. Jarmaine waited until she got to her room and started to cry! she fell asleep and didn't wake up till the next morning. She got up and was very irritated about having to go to school, especially sense it was spirit week and she had no type of spirit. later on that day there was a pep rally, and they were having a karaoke contest. "WHO IS COMING DOWN TO SING!!!" the principal shouted. "Jarmaine go!!!!" her friend Kelsey insisted "no Kelsey  i dont waaaaa..." next thing Jarmaine knew, she felt a shrug and Kelsey had pushed her off the bleacher and on to the gym floor. the teacher gave her the Mic and told her to pick a song. Jarmaine picked her celeb teen crush song "my girl" and she was very nervous. the first few notes were a little off but then she let go of her nerves and turned them into excitement! She blew the crowd away and she even won the contest. She felt soo good about herself and didn't wanna stop singing. After the Rally it was time to go. She got out the gym door and was approached by about 30 people. "Jarmaine that was amazing you will become a star someday" is what a lot of them said. Jarmaine walked home with the biggest smile ever. She had soooo much confidence and was ready to sing some more. She stepped into the house, set her family on the couch and told them what had happened . She then broke out in song singing "my girl" showing them what she had sung for her school. "WOW, Jarmaine that is wonderful honey, i am soooo proud of you. You ARE the worlds next big star!!" Jarmaine was soo excited! she ran upstairs and picked out her outfit for the next day. When she opened up the closet the sparkly jeenie popped out. "oh my gosh jeenie thank you soooo much, you made my family and peers believe in me" Jarmaine shouted "awe shucks, no problem!! you still have a second wish girl!!" "ummm i wish that you can get a talent scout to get me to where i wanna be" "k, its done" "omg ughh im actually gonna get this!!!?" Jarmaine questioned "yep!!!!!bye!!" Once again the Jeanie disappeared. Jarmaine lay across her bed with a smile on her face so thankful for her Jeanie. Jarmaine s sister came into the room "hey i video taped you today and girl your so good!! im going to put it on youtube" "NOOOO, YOU CANT! "Why not" "ughh im scared people wont like me" Jarmaine mumbled "ugh J, people aren't gonna like you and people will love you thats life...what matters is if you love you!" Jarmaine took her sisters words to heart and decided to face her fear. they put the video up on youtube and it was a hit!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 weeks went buy and Jarmaine already had almost 900,000 views. 1,456 likes and 459 dislikes. the dislikes didn't phase her at all, it would have 2 weeks ago though, but her sister really helped her realize that as long as she loved her self and was satisfied when what she did, then nothing else mattered. Jarmaine had looked at her messages and had gotten one from a man who claimed to be a talent scout. He wanted her to fly out to California tomorrow to audition to be singed by a record deal because he thought her voice was very unique. He also said that if she didn't believe him that she could call around about him. Jarmaine s heart stopped and she just started to scream. She ran to her mother and told her the news. Her mother read the letter and agreed to going and told the whole family to pack up. Jarmaine was so overwhelmed on how fast things were going, She was soo excited and she just had to thank her Jeanie for helping so she called on her and the Jeanie appeared. "Jeanie, it worked!!! im flying out to California tom. this was nobody but you and i thank you so much. You gave my family and peers the ability to believe in me and you found a talent scout for me!!!!" Jarmaine told the Jeanie. the Jeanie then replied "haha oh Jarmaine your welcome!! but i cannot take the credit for what your thanking me for." Jarmaine gave her a puzzled look "umm what do you mean, yes you can" "no silly, i only set up situations where it seemed like i granted your wish. i came to help you bring out the greatest qualities in you. i gave you a situation where you had the confidence to sing in front of your family and peers that got them to see your true talent. I gave you a situation where you brought the fear out of you causing you  to put up a video of your singing on a website that talent scouts visit, and now you will be very successful in everything you do" with that being said, the Jeanie left and Jarmaine just stood there she felt so great about herself knowing that because of her Jeanie she will always be Confident, Fearless, and Successful.

waste of time!!!

well, i dont play a sport or do anything extra really after school....i do my homework usually the day its assigned at school..so when i get home i usually just tweet my life away on twitter....which is a definate waste of time in my opinion ill look up and it will be 7:00. another thing i do to waste my time would be watching tv. I watch at least 5-7 movies a week...sometimes more because sometimes my little sister wants me to watch a kids movie with her. like as i am typing this i am watching a tinker bell movie with her, because i have to be somewhere at 5 and i have nothing else to do with my life for the next 5 hours lol. also when i go to school with my mom, i bring my ipod with me and play angry birds. it REALLY does waste my time. i just keep playing, and playing, and..PLAYING. lol ill even tell myself "ok, when you pass this level thats all for the day" and then i pass the level and try out the next one and i find my self saying once again, "ok, when you pass this level thats all for the day". This is a never ending cycle for me until my moms class is over. on saturdays when im bored and i have nothing to do with my life (let me first say that i am a fashionista, i love makeup, i love doing nails, and i love doing hair, and i LOVE to sing.) i get on youtube and look up how makeup gurus on youtube do their makeup, or ill look up how people do nail designs, or looking up peoples reviews for what they put in their hair to define their natural curls, and since i was younger ive just looked up the instrumental songs and sing my life away because i have nothing else to do lol. ill even have an imaginary mic in my hand and just act like im performing or im famous or something (i probably ...actually i KNOW i would look crazy if someone would have seen me, but i dont care cause thats my dream. lol) but yeah, ill look up at clock and it will be time to go to bed!!!!!!!!! so yea all those things are really a waste of my time...well with an exception of the singing. lol but yeah in english it was kind of a drag this week because we had to read, and i dont really like to read that much when its over something that i dont care about...but we did play a fun game on friday!!! this weekend i went to the movies and seen justin bieber 3d...and i went to the movie thinkin that he was kinda cute i liked voice..ya know not anything serious....i left that movie with bieber fever. lol haha so now im convinced that i WILL marry him one day...that it all :)
