Twilight: What Is Love





Dear Reader,

 Welcome to the world of vampires, danger, and romance. You will find all kinds of different things that go with the theme of love from the story in Twilight written by Stephanie Meyers. The reason I chose the theme love for my book, is because the two major characters in the book are very much in love with each other. The love that they have for each other is very strong. The problem is that Edward, a vampire and Bella, a human are madly in love with each other and can’t stay away from one another for a long period of time. Something just as simple as Edwards touch can make Bella weak, and nausea. Something just as simple as a peck on the lips can set Edward off at anytime, causing him to kill her from wanting her blood. Love is the thing that is making everything so difficult for Edward and dangerous for Bella. Although Edward wants Bella to leave him because he knows the danger he can put her in, she can’t leave and she won’t because the love that she has for Edward makes the fact that he is a vampire seem normal. What is love?

It doesn’t matter who you are or what you have become

No matter how old you are or where you have come from

1. when that persons around you get extra nervous but still comfortable at the same time

2. you can tell that person any and everything

3. The moment that person leaves, thats the only one your thinking about

4. you take any risk possible to be with that person

5. No matter what they do you are always there

6.Everything you do reminds you of that person

7. you cant go a day without talking to or seeing that person

8. when reading this that certain person came to mind ;)

9. out of all the places in the world, you would only want to be where that person is

10. if its someone as creepy as a vampire, that wouldn't mean anything to you.

 

I've never given much thought to how I would die. But dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go.

My Reflection
 I think this project was actually really fun, because i really did enjoy my book. The reason for me choosing the theme "love" was because i feel that it was definitely  a main part of my book. The first genre that i did was a poem on love. i wanted to start my blog out letting people know what they were about to see as they went on into my blog, so i made a poem explaining in my opinion what love is and what it will cause you to do. The second genre i did was a free verse poem that was between the main characters in my book, Bella and Edward. I chose to do this because i wanted the reader to see the two different perspectives when it came to loving each other and how they both in love, but it was a very difficult situation. The third genre i did was 10 ways to know if... your in love I chose to do this one because i thought it was a fun one and another way of showing all the things Bella had did throughout the book showing that she was in love with Edward. The final Genre that i chose to do was a "Wanted Poster" I chose to do this because i felt that a lot of people wouldn't really do it. I made it so that Edward was wanted for stealing Bella's heart. Not necessarily that its a bad thing for Bella but that it was a bad thing for the dad. I was showing how he was protective over Bella. I think the most difficult part was actually figuring out the "3rd genre" that i was going to do, but i ended up figuring it out. Other than that, i thought the project was very fun and pretty simple. It took a lot of time to do but for the most part, it wasn't really that bad. Im actually happy that we did it on a blog this year. I thought it was way easier this way and it definitely saved a lot of time in my opinion!! :)
